Volleyball Recap: Kentucky Country Day Falls Short Against Ranked Sayre

Kentucky Country Day faced Sayre in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bearcats fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-1. The Bearcats just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Kentucky Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Sayre, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kentucky Country Day will venture away from home to square off against Bishop Brossart at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Sayre, they will head out to take on Ballard Memorial at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
