Volleyball Recap: Pembroke Has No Trouble Against Scituate

Pembroke won the last time they faced Scituate and things went their way on Monday too. The Titans blew past the Sailors 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

The win didn't come easy: Scituate scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Scituate still got an impressive performance from Matilda Grant, who had ten digs and two aces. Molly-Kate Scott also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Pembroke's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Scituate, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pembroke is set to take on their familiar foe Plymouth North at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Scituate will face off against rival Marshfield at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
