Basketball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

If Marshall was feeling good fresh off their 85-40 takedown of Lead Hill last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Marshall Bobcats received a blow on Friday as they fell 62-45 to the Bigelow Panthers. The loss continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost six in a row.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Bigelow, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Marshall has already played their next game (against Dardanelle), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bigelow does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
