After low-scoring totals in their previous three contest, Juanita Sanchez Complex brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They secured a 32-28 W over the Hope Blue Wave on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Cavaliers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

When it comes to explaining why Hope lost, don't look at Christopher Martinez. Despite the final result, he picked up 118 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 36 yards and two scores. Martinez didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended one pass.

Juanita Sanchez Complex's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Hope, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-10.
