Softball Recap: Burnsville Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Burnsville's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Prior Lake Lakers on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-1 last Friday.

Burnsville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kate Dam, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Burnsville now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Prior Lake, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Burnsville will take on rival Apple Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Prior Lake is set to face off against their familiar foe Lakeville North at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
