St. Joseph's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They won by a set and slipped past the Wilton Warriors 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Cadets in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won six in a row.

St. Joseph had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 26-28, 25-9, 25-21, 15-13.

St. Joseph was led to victory by Mary DeCaro and Lilly Kugit. DeCaro had 22 digs and four aces, while Kugit had 35 assists and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Giuliana Maniscalco, who had four aces and three digs.

They weren't the only good servers: St. Joseph was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 20 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

St. Joseph's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Wilton, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
