L.C. Bird can bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They blew past the Richmond High School for the Arts Bulldogs 21-5. The Skyhawks not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 21st (when they won 16-0).

L.C. Bird's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 2-10. As for Richmond High School for the Arts, their loss was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. L.C. Bird will head out to face off against Manchester at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Skyhawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lancers have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Richmond High School for the Arts, they will venture away from home to square off against Powhatan at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Indians have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
