Basketball Recap: Naches Valley Comes Up Short

Naches Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 64-53 to the Connell Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-40 two weeks ago.

Naches Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Connell, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-10.

Naches Valley will welcome Wapato at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Wapato knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matchups -- so hopefully Naches Valley likes a good challenge. As for Connell, they are taking a road trip to take on Kiona-Benton at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Connell has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 194 points over their last three contests.
