Franklin had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They enjoyed a cozy 66-47 win over the Fairfield Eagles on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Lions, who have now won 16 contests in a row.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Fairfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.

Looking ahead, Franklin will challenge Troy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Troy will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Franklin surely won't give up without a fight. Fairfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
