Game recap

LANCASTER, N.Y. - Frontier (Hamburg, N.Y.) kept up a steady attack all game long to beat Lancaster (N.Y.), 31-0, on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a field goal by Adrian Cannon in the second quarter, the Falcons led 10-0 at the half.

Frontier expanded its lead to 24 points entering the fourth quarter. FHS scored two times in the third, including once on a Tyler Gaglia touchdown run.

The Redskins came in giving up 15.8 points per game this season. Lancaster had a hard time against Frontier's offense, which entered the game scoring 26.8 points per game. The Falcons had given up an average of 8.8 points prior to the contest. Lancaster's zero points were well below its season average of 15.8 per game.

Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 22-16 win for Frontier.

The win was a nice bounce back for FHS, which lost to Kenmore West last week, 26-21. The loss was the third in a row for the Redskins.

Lancaster (3-3) will play a non-conference game against Depew next week, while Frontier (5-1) will take on Hamburg also in a non-conference game.
