South Vermillion skates past Attica with ease

The South Vermillion Wildcats waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They breezed by Attica at home to the tune of 65-24. That looming 65-24 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for South Vermillion yet this season.

It was another big night for Brayson Shoults, who scored 16 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aden Wallace, who scored 11 points along with three steals.

South Vermillion pushed their record up to 11-8 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Attica, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

South Vermillion and Martinsville will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. South Vermillion is facing Martinsville at the right time seeing as Martinsville is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Attica, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Frontier at 7:30 p.m.
