Baseball Recap: York Catholic Takes a Loss

York Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 10-3 to the Biglerville Canners. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Fighting Irish of the 6-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Connor Latrechiano made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Manfredi, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

York Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coming up, York Catholic will head out on the road to challenge Fairfield at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Biglerville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Littlestown at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
