 Victory Christian Academy had to endure  a  three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Cristo Rey on Thursday as the Victory Christian Academy Knights made off with  a  19-3 victory. With that  win, Victory Christian Academy brought their scoring average up to 6.5  runs per game.
  Angel Rosario was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Rosario was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing three bases while going 2-for-5.
 In other batting news, Victory Christian Academy let  Max Gardner and  Xavier Renteria loose on the outfield. Gardner  scored four  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4, while  Renteria  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI. Gardner is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last four games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Niko Kuhn, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
 Victory Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Cristo Rey, they now  have a losing record at 0-1-1.
 Victory Christian Academy will head out on the road to  square off against  Julian at 3:00  p.m.  on Friday. Victory Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.5  runs per game this season. As for Cristo Rey, they will be staying on the road  on Tuesday to face off against Gompers Prep Academy at 4:30  p.m.
