Baseball Recap: Argo Comes Up Short

Argo fell victim to Evergreen Park and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent loss being a 9-7 defeat back in April.

Argo has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-21 record this season. As for Evergreen Park, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 25-9.

Argo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Evergreen Park, they will take on Schaumburg at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
