Volleyball Recap: Farrington Falls to Liberty in First Game of Season

Farrington kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Liberty Patriots, falling 3-0.

Farrington took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-10, 25-20.

Leading Liberty to victory were KAHLIA MAIAVA and ALEXANDRIA WALKER. MAIAVA had 13 assists, while WALKER had five digs and two assists.

The win (which was Liberty's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Coming up, Farrington will be taking part in a tournament against Sierra Vista at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Liberty, they will venture away from home to challenge Coronado at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
