Baseball Recap: Grove Christian School Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Grove Christian School had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against Fuqua, falling 13-3.

Grove Christian School saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was TJ Silberman, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Fuqua's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Grove Christian School will welcome The Carmel School at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fuqua, they will venture away from home to take on Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fuqua is facing Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot at the right time seeing as Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
