Football Recap: Palm Beach Gardens Falls Short Against Ranked Seminole Ridge

Palm Beach Gardens faced Seminole Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Gators fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 26-24. It was the first time this season that the Gators let down their fans at home.

Despite the loss, Palm Beach Gardens still got an impressive performance from Myla Alligood, who threw for 301 yards and three TDs, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground.

Seminole Ridge found their leader in sophomore Aubrey Fogel, who threw for 401 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of her passes. Those 401 passing yards set a new season-high mark for Fogel.

Palm Beach Gardens' loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Seminole Ridge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

Palm Beach Gardens does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seminole Ridge, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 25-12 victory against Spanish River on the 9th.
