Football Game Preview: Grace Prep Lions vs. Brook Hill Guard

The Grace Prep Lions will head out to challenge the Brook Hill Guard at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Grace Prep will be strutting in after a win while Brook Hill will be coming in after a loss.

Grace Prep took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. Everything went their way against Brentwood Christian as they made off with a 42-21 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won three matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Noah Bonjour produced another solid effort rushing for 273 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 10.9 yards per carry. Those 273 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Brook Hill came up short against Hyde Park on Friday and fell 24-14.

Grace Prep pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points over those games. As for Brook Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Grace Prep suffered a grim 36-10 defeat to Brook Hill when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
