Loyola-Sacred Heart found a leader in Cameron Buxton as the team took down Plains on Tuesday. Buxton produced his best game of the campaign: he went 8-for-10 to rack up 18 points and four steals. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 52.1% field goal percentage.

Buxton and Loyola-Sacred Heart will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Thompson Falls at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2026. The Rams are 9-1 against the Blue Hawks going back to February of 2020, a lead they'll look to extend.
