Soccer Game Preview: Oak Lawn vs. Reavis

Oak Lawn is 1-6 against Reavis since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Spartans will look to defend their home pitch against the Rams at 4:30 p.m. Reavis took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Oak Lawn, who comes in off a win.

Oak Lawn is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Goode STEM Academy a 7-0 shutout on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what Oak Lawn needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Reavis' offense. They came up short against St. Laurence on Monday, falling 4-0. Reavis have struggled against St. Laurence recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Reavis' loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Oak Lawn, their win bumped their record up to 6-3-1.
