Basketball Recap: Lexington Makes It Nine in a Row at Home

Lexington came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past the Wooster Generals with a 74-68 win. Given the Minutemen's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Generals are ranked 277th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lexington's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.9 points per game. As for Wooster, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.
