Basketball Recap: New Washington Comes Up Short

New Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 83-41 loss at the hands of the South Central Rebels. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mustangs have suffered since December 21, 2024.

New Washington's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for South Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Washington will square off against Crothersville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Central, they will take on Rock Creek Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
