Baseball Recap: Lebanon Trail Takes a Loss

Lebanon Trail lost against Frisco last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Lebanon Trail fell just short of Frisco by a score of 3-2. The Trail Blazers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lebanon Trail got a good showing from Matthew Cable, who tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. That's the fewest hits Cable has allowed since back in February.

On the hitting side, Lebanon Trail saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Takuma Kitahama, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Kitahama also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Lebanon Trail's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Frisco, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lebanon Trail is set to square off against their familiar foe Heritage at 7:30 p.m. on April 15. Meanwhile, Frisco will take on rival Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
