Baseball Game Preview: Parkland Mustangs vs. Lexington Yellowjackets

The Parkland Mustangs will head out to challenge the Lexington Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 19 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Parkland and three for Lexington.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Parkland's offense. They came up short against Davie on Tuesday, falling 16-0.

Meanwhile, Lexington came up short against South Davidson on Tuesday and fell 11-6.

Lexington saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordon Summers, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. Another was Max O'Connell, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Parkland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Lexington, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Parkland suffered a grim 33-21 defeat to Lexington in their previous matchup on Wednesday. Can Parkland avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
