Volleyball Recap: Neodesha Comes Up Short

Neodesha entered their match against St. Mary's-Colgan on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Blue Streaks fell 2-0 to the Panthers. The Blue Streaks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-12.

Allison Stover paced Neodesha's offense, picking up five kills. Stover got some help from Tiana Sanders and her six assists.

St. Mary's-Colgan found their leader in sophomore Callie Lundy, who had 16 digs and three aces. Lundy has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Neodesha's defeat dropped their record down to 19-4. As for St. Mary's-Colgan, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Neodesha didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Uniontown on the 27th. As for St. Mary's-Colgan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Columbus on the 27th.
