Volleyball Recap: Bear Creek Bears vs. Rangeview Raiders        
        
		
             Bear Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight  defeat. They fell  3-1 to the Rangeview Raiders. While the Bears didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Raiders  25-22 in the first  set.
 Bear Creek might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Rangeview: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 26-24, 26-24,  25-22.
 Despite the  loss, Bear Creek saw an underclassman step up:  Alana L Hernandez  had 13  digs. What's more,  Hernandez also racked up  no  blocks, the mostshe's  had  in her last three  matches.
  Briana Garcia was the offensive standout of the  contest as she  had 13  digs.
 Bear Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Rangeview, their record now sits at 10-6.
 Bear Creek is on the road again  on Tuesday to play Arvada West at 6:30  p.m. Arvada West is coming into the  game with six straight  victories at home,  so Bear Creek will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum. As for Rangeview, they will welcome KIPP Denver Collegiate  at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
