Basketball Recap: Milan Comes Up Short

Milan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. The contest between them and the Westview Chargers didn't end well, with the Milan Bulldogs falling 58-42. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 364th, while the Chargers are ranked 131st).

Milan's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Westview, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milan will take on Peabody at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Peabody's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games. Westview has already played their next contest (against Gibson County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
