Basketball Game Preview: Hillsboro Hawks vs. Farmington Knights

Hillsboro and Farmington are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2016, but not for long. The Hillsboro Hawks will square off against the Farmington Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hillsboro comes in on three and Farmington on ten.

Last Wednesday, Hillsboro didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Poplar Bluff, but they still walked away with a 75-69 victory.

It was another big night for Gregory Robinson, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in shooting accuracy (88%). Another player making a difference was Cooper Mcgrath, who posted 14 points.

Meanwhile, Farmington humbled DeSoto with a 66-34 victory. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 23 points or more this season.

Hillsboro's win bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Farmington, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-2.

Hillsboro came up short against Farmington in their previous meeting back in January, falling 54-43. Can Hillsboro avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
