John Calipari got on the board with his first Top 10 prospect in the 2016 class Thursday — and recent history suggests it won't be the last.

De'Aaron Fox, a 6-foot-4 point guard from Cypress Lakes (Katy, Texas), committed to Kentucky over offers from Arizona, Kansas and Louisville, among others. The decision was broadcast live by ESPNU.

Fox is the No. 3 overall prospect in the 2016 class according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He averaged 23.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game last season at Cypress Lakes en route to MaxPreps Junior All-American honors.

The Wildcats also have 2016 commitments from a pair of forwards in No. 16 overall prospect Wenyen Gabriel and No. 26 Sacha Killeya-Jones.
