Soccer Recap: Platteville Takes a Loss

If Platteville was riding high fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Richland Center on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hillmen fell just short of the Edgerton Crimson Tide by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Platteville couldn't quite close it out.

Platteville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4-2. As for Edgerton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5-3 record this season.

Platteville will face off against Monroe at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Edgerton, they will take on Lakeside Lutheran at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
