Mount View extended their home winning streak to 12 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Shiann Carter. The Golden Knights walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bluefield Beavers on Saturday thanks in part to Carter, who had six digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last three times she's played.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Mount View was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15.

Mount View's win bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Bluefield, they are on a 31-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.
