Basketball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Hazlehurst's Third in Last Four Outings

Hazlehurst won the last time they faced Enterprise and Jakavion Johnson did his part to make sure it happened again. The Indians were the clear victors by a 75-49 margin over the Yellowjackets on Thursday for which the team can thank Johnson, who went 8-for-13 from beyond the arc en route to 32 points and five rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Hazlehurst's points.

Hazlehurst has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for Enterprise, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Hazlehurst has already played their next game, a 55-42 win against Puckett on the 24th. As for Enterprise, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-18 loss against Jefferson County on the 21st.
