Clarion-Limestone had lost three games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 4-4 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top against the Allegheny-Clarion Valley Falcons by a score of 8-3. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered an 8-7 defeat the last time these two teams met.

As for Allegheny-Clarion Valley, their record now sits at 3-3. The contest marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

For Allegheny-Clarion Valley's part, Emerson Stevens spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and four unearned) runs on four hits.

On the hitting side, Kya Wetzel made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddy Dehart, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
