Volleyball Recap: Duchesne Comes Up Short

Duchesne lost against St. Pius X back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Pioneers lost 3-0 to the Lancers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-13, 25-9.

Bryce Rogles paced Duchesne's offense, picking up five kills. Rogles got some help from Landon Mccarthy and his five assists.

Duchesne has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-18-1 record this season. As for St. Pius X, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4.

Duchesne has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Maplewood-Richmond Heights on the 29th. As for St. Pius X, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Bayless on the 30th.
