Montgomery Catholic came tearing into  Monday's  contest with eight straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Wilcox Central Jaguars 46-0. The  game marked the Knights' most dominant  win of the  season.
 Hayden Fitts was  her usual excellent self, throwing for 148 yards and four  touchdowns while completing 75% of her passes, and also punching in one  TD on the ground. What's more,  she racked up 142.7  passer rating, the most she's  had since back in September.  Ellis O'Connor did her part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 29 receiving yards.
 Montgomery Catholic didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over.  Molly Dwyer led the group effort, picking up two of those  interceptions all by herself.
Montgomery Catholic's record is now 14-4. As for Wilcox Central,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
 Looking ahead, Montgomery Catholic will square off against Hoover at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Knights will be up against the Buccaneers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35  points per  matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Wilcox Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
