Volleyball Recap: Hurley Tigers vs. School of the Ozarks Patriots
Hurley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the School of the Ozarks Patriots. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.
The final score came out to 25-9, 25-6.
School of the Ozarks found their leader in freshman Kinsley Williams, who had six aces and four digs. With that strong performance, Williams is now averaging an impressive 2.2 aces per game.
Hurley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for School of the Ozarks, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.
Coming up, Hurley will be playing at home against New Covenant Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for School of the Ozarks, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Wheaton on the 13th.
