Basketball Game Preview: North Valley Christian Academy Lions vs. Horizon Honors Eagles

The North Valley Christian Academy Lions are taking a road trip to square off against the Horizon Honors Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

North Valley Christian Academy will head into Wednesday's match out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Wednesday. They came up short against Rancho Solano Prep, falling 72-48. The loss was the Lions' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Horizon Honors came tearing into Wednesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past the Spartans with a 55-50 victory.

Horizon Honors is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for North Valley Christian Academy, their loss ended a 16-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-1.
