Football Recap: Pearl River Comes Up Short

Pearl River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 20-6 bruising from the Chalmette Owls. The Rebels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Owls apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Pearl River's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Chalmette, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Pearl River will head out on the road to take on Archbishop Hannan at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. As for Chalmette, they will welcome Ponchatoula at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th.
