Basketball Recap: Liberty Union Comes Up Short

Liberty Union lost against Bloom-Carroll back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Liberty Union Lions fell 58-46 to the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs.

Liberty Union's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Bloom-Carroll, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4.

Liberty Union and Parkersburg will round out the year against one another at at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Liberty Union is facing Parkersburg at the right time seeing as Parkersburg is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bloom-Carroll, they are taking a road trip to challenge Johnstown-Monroe at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
