Football Recap: Thorsby Rebels vs. Thomasville Tigers        
        
		
             A  victory for Thorsby just wasn't in the cards  on Friday as the  squad wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They were  outmatched by the Thomasville Tigers at home  and fell  50-18. The Rebels were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  36-16.
 When it comes to explaining why Thorsby lost, don't look at  Grayson Mcmanus. Despite the final result, he rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 31 yards and a touchdown. Mcmanus' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 113  rushing yards dating back to last season.
 Thorsby wouldn't let Thomasville keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as  Malachi Allgood,  Kaden Collins,  and  Braylon Carroll picked up one apiece. Collins also set a new season high mark in  total tackles with seven.
 It was another big night for  Dallas Bryant, who rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, and also picked up 39 receiving yards for Thomasville.
 This is the second loss in a row for Thorsby and  nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Thomasville, the  win for them keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
 Thorsby has already played their next contest,  a  42-12  victory against Dallas County on the 11th. As for Thomasville, they also  didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  56-13  win against Hale County on the 11th.
