Basketball Recap: Hackberry Comes Up Short

Hackberry entered their game against Evans on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Mustangs were dealt a 65-18 defeat at the hands of the Eagles. Having soared to a lofty 59 points in the game before, the Mustangs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Hackberry's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Evans, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

Coincidentally, Hackberry and Evans will both be playing Reeves the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Raiders at 6:20 p.m. on Friday, while the Mustangs will head out to face them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
