Lake Mary saw some tournament action on Saturday. They strolled past Jones with points to spare, taking the game 55-37. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Fightin' Tigers are ranked 247th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, DME Academy Blue might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting New Smyrna Beach an easy 62-38 victory.

DME Academy Blue dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Lake Mary, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
