Softball Recap: Waterloo Takes a Loss

Waterloo suffered their biggest defeat since April 20, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Poynette Pumas, falling 12-4. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Pumas: they've now lost five in a row.

Callie Davison was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Waterloo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waterloo will host North Fond du Lac at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Poynette, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Stratford at 10:00 a.m.
