On Saturday, Boise faced Timberline in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Boise Brave walked away with a 53-45 victory over the Timberline Wolves. The win was familiar territory for the Brave who have now won seven matchups in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Boise to victory, but perhaps none more so than Avery Patricco, who went 5 for 10 en route to 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alison Turcke, who posted 11 points.

Boise is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Timberline, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boise has already played their next contest (against Capital), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Timberline will square off against Ridgevue at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Timberline is facing Ridgevue at the right time seeing as Ridgevue is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
