Baseball Recap: Dixon Takes a Loss

Dixon lost against Wood back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Dixon Rams fell just short of the Wood Wildcats by a score of 4-3. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dixon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Lopez, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. What's more, Lopez posted two hits, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.

Dixon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Dixon will welcome Armijo on Tuesday. As for Wood, they will face off against Justin-Siena at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
