Volleyball Recap: Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit Comes Up Short

Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit was the 3-1 winner over Crystal Springs Uplands when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gryphons on Thursday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 22-25, 25-15.

Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Crystal Springs Uplands, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit and Crystal Springs Uplands will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Lions see the court they'll take on KIPP San Jose Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Crystal Springs Uplands, their break will end when they face The Nueva School at 4:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
