Lipscomb Academy waltzed into their matchup on Friday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They walked away with a 44-35 victory over the Father Ryan Irish. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 44-32 back in January.

Lipscomb Academy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.4 points over those games. As for Father Ryan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lipscomb Academy will challenge St. Cecilia Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Father Ryan, they are taking a road trip to square off against Christ Presbyterian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
