Basketball Recap: Malvern Comes Up Short

If Malvern was riding high fresh off their 64-39 takedown of Hall last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Malvern Leopards fell 43-36 to the ESTEM Mets on Friday. The Leopards were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.

Malvern's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for ESTEM, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Malvern has already played their next game (against Mills University Studies), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. ESTEM will head out to challenge Fountain Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as ESTEM comes in on six and Fountain Lake on three.
