Football Game Preview: Montgomery Central Indians vs. Battle Creek Grizzlies

Montgomery Central is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Friday. They will head out on the road to square off against the Battle Creek Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. Montgomery Central is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Friday, Montgomery Central came up short against Clarksville Academy and fell 23-16. While the Indians had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Cougars 8-2.

Montgomery Central might have lost, but man, Malosi Laban was a machine: he rushed for 91 yards and a pair of TDs. Wesley Mobley also helped out with an impressive 108 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Battle Creek's offense. They had to suffer through a 56-0 loss at the hands of Marshall County.

Battle Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Montgomery Central, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-5.
