Basketball Recap: Ennis Takes a Loss

Ennis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They were beaten by the Crandall Pirates 73-34. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-24 back in December of 2024.

Ennis' loss dropped their record down to 6-23. As for Crandall, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-14.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Ennis Lions take on the Midlothian Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crandall, they are taking a road trip to take on Terrell at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
